What extra features does the Pro version include?
The Pro version ($9.99) adds a privileged SMC helper for hardware sensor data: CPU temperature, GPU temperature, battery temperature, fan speeds in RPM, and power draw in watts. These sensors require elevated access that the App Store sandbox does not allow.
